Biographical Sketch:
Researcher at CNR-ITM since 2017. She received her degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology ("cum Laude") in 2004 and her PhD in Chemical Engineering and Materials in 2010 from the University of Calabria. She joined the CNR-ITM in 2004 as research fellow, participating in various research projects in the field of membrane emulsification. She was Visiting Postdoctoral Research at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany (2013) and at Loughborough University, United Kingdom (2012).
She is co-author of more than 20 papers published in scientific journals, 14 book chapters, 1 patent and various contributions at scientific conferences. She was co-editor of the EU-China Membrane Newsletter and guest editor of 2 special issues: Membranes technologies for pharmaceutical applications (Current Pharmaceutical Design); Membrane Emulsification (Membranes).
She was supervisor of more than 10 Master Degree Students, 3 PhD students and many Foreign students/Researchers visiting CNR-ITM.
