Biographical Sketch: 

Researcher at ITM-CNR since december 2018. He graduated in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology (University of Calabria, 2007) and obtained PhD in Physical, Chemical and Materials Sciences and Technologies (University of Calabria-CNR, 2017). He received an honorable mention within the “Young Investigator Award 2018” for his research in the area of green chemistry. Since 2007, He participated in national and international research projects. Co-author of several scientific papers published in international journals and entries in “Encyclopedia of Membranes”.

Main fields of research: 
  • Production of microparticles by membrane emulsifica.
  • Production of nanoparticles by membrane-assisted nanoprecipitation.
  • Integrated membrane operations for wastewater treatment and recovery of high-added-value compounds.
  • Encapsulation of bioactive compounds.
  • Preparation of nanostructured and nanocomposite  membranes for gas and vapour separation.
